Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil as well as Telugu films, in addition to some Malayalam films. She won the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her work in the film as actress Savitri. Other awards she has won comprise three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar's parents are film producer G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. She started her acting career at the beginning of 2000. She was the leading role in Geethaanjali, a Malayalam-language film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy took on her first Malayalam projects as well as began working with Tamil simultaneously. Her debut film is A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) which was a co-production with Vikram Prabhu. However, the film didn't do well at the box office. Because of her hectic schedule in 2015, she was forced to withdraw from films on which she had already begun working, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. The actress was in two films that came out in quick succession, alongside Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also one of the main actors in Prabhu's Thodari. In 2015 the movie was later delayed and reports suggest that Janakitho Nenu will be released in September of 2020. The debut film came out as Nenu Sailaja in the year 2016 starring actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was first seen on screen in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) opposite actor Vijay. Keerthy has also appeared as a Tamil actress in Paambhu Saattai and as an Telugu actor on Nenu Local.
